Open Connections in the Expertise dashboard to see the full catalog. Each tile shows whether the tool is connected and what Expertise can do with it.

The three ways tools connect

Click Connect, sign in with the provider, and approve the requested access. Expertise never sees your password, the provider issues a token that you can revoke at any time from the provider’s own security settings or by disconnecting in Expertise. Google Workspace, Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, Microsoft 365, and most other tools work this way.
Some tools (Apollo, Fireflies, PostHog, Zapier, n8n, and others) use an API key instead of a sign-in. The connect dialog tells you exactly where to find the key in that tool’s settings, and keys are stored encrypted and never shown back to you or included in chat.
LinkedIn uses a secure hosted sign-in window. You authenticate directly with LinkedIn; Expertise receives a managed session, not your credentials.

After connecting

  • Tools become available in chat immediately: just ask, no setup commands.
  • Expertise mentions which connection it’s using when it acts.
  • Scheduled tasks can use any of your connections, with the same approval rules.

Disconnecting

Disconnect any tool from its tile on the Connections page. This removes the stored token or key. For OAuth tools you can additionally revoke the grant in the provider’s own connected-apps settings.

If a connection shows “needs attention”

The provider’s token expired or the sign-in was abandoned partway. Click the tile and reconnect. This replaces the stored credentials and everything resumes where it left off.
