What you can ask
“What’s happened in the Acme deal chat today?”
“List the teams and channels I’m part of.”
“Catch me up on the #general channel in the Sales team.”
“Send Jane a Teams message asking if Thursday still works.” (asks for approval first)

- Ask Expertise about a chat or channel to confirm it’s live.
ChannelMessage.Read.All) that your Microsoft admin has to approve. If
that’s not enabled, Expertise can still read chats and send messages, only
channel history is affected. Reconnect with that option enabled once your
admin has approved it.
You can disconnect from the Connections page any time, or revoke access
under your Microsoft account’s app permissions.
Tools
Good to know
- Channel history needs tenant admin approval. Your Microsoft admin controls whether Expertise can read channel messages, separately from chats. If it’s not approved, Expertise will tell you rather than guess at channel content.
- Every send pauses for your approval, the approval card shows the destination and message text first.
- Tenant policies can still block things. Even with the right scopes granted, your organization’s Teams policies or your own team/channel membership can limit what Expertise can read or send.
- Bot replies are separate from your own sends. Expertise only replies as the Expertise app in a conversation that started a scheduled task there, everything else you ask it to send goes out from your own account.

Ask your admin to enable channel message history, then reconnect Teams
