Connecting
- Open Connections in the dashboard and click Asana → Connect.
- Sign in to your Asana account and approve the requested access.
- Ask Expertise about a task or project to confirm it’s live.
What’s covered
Expertise picks the right Asana action for what you ask, no need to know project or section IDs. Typical requests cover:- Finding and filtering tasks by project, section, assignee, or due date
- Reading task detail, subtasks, and comments
- Creating tasks and updating assignee, due date, or completion status
Good to know
- Ask by name. Expertise resolves project, section, and teammate names for you, no need to hunt for IDs in Asana.
- Custom fields vary by project. If a project uses custom fields Expertise can’t confidently match, it asks rather than guessing.
- Every create or update pauses for your approval with the exact fields about to be set.
