What you can ask
“Find VPs of Engineering at Series B companies in the US using AWS.”
“Enrich this list of companies with revenue, employee count, and funding history.”
“Is Acme Corp showing any buying-intent signals right now?”
“Pull Acme’s org chart for their engineering leadership.”
“How much ZoomInfo credit do we have left this month?”
Connecting
- In the ZoomInfo Admin Portal, open Developer Portal and create API client credentials (this requires the Enterprise API or Copilot package).
- Designate an integration user for the app, as ZoomInfo requires.
- Open Connections in the dashboard, click ZoomInfo → Connect, and enter the Client ID and Client Secret from step 1.
- Ask Expertise to search for a company to confirm it’s live.
Tools
Good to know
- Searches are free; enrichment can cost credits. Search results are previews only (names, titles, company details), getting an actual email, phone number, or full firmographic profile uses your ZoomInfo record credits. A record already enriched in the last 12 months re-enriches free.
- Large enrichment requests get a heads-up. Before enriching 10 or more records, Expertise checks your remaining usage and tells you roughly what it will consume.
- Some data is entitlement-gated. ZoomInfo features vary by package, if a request isn’t available on your plan, Expertise reports that plainly rather than retrying.
- Nothing writes back to ZoomInfo. Every tool here is a read, so there’s no approval step for ZoomInfo itself, the only thing to watch is credit usage.

Ask again in the same chat, tools can take a moment to surface in a new
conversation, or reconnect from the Connections tile if the Client
ID/Secret changed.

ZoomInfo gates features by subscription package. If a field or endpoint
returns as unavailable, that data isn’t included in your current
ZoomInfo plan.
