Connect Granola and Expertise can search your meeting notes with you: browse by timeframe, ask a natural-language question across everything you’ve discussed, or pull a full transcript. Every tool here only reads your notes, nothing changes in Granola, so nothing pauses for approval.

What you can ask

“What did we decide about pricing in last week’s calls?”
“List every meeting from this month with the Acme team.”
“Summarize the action items from my last standup.”
“Find the transcript from the Granola note titled ‘Q3 renewal call’.”

Connecting

  1. Open Connections in the dashboard and click Granola → Connect.
  2. Sign in to Granola and approve the requested access.
  3. Ask Expertise about a recent meeting to confirm it’s live.
You can disconnect from the Connections page any time, or revoke access from your Granola account settings.

Tools

Good to know

  • Nothing to approve. Every Granola tool is a read, so approvals never come up for this connector.
  • Citations come with the answer. When Expertise answers a question across your meetings, it links back to the source notes so you can verify where something came from.
  • Long transcripts get summarized. Expertise pulls out the relevant parts in chat rather than dumping the raw transcript, unless you ask for the full text.
  • The meeting list is the source of truth. Expertise reads your Granola notes directly rather than guessing from your calendar or inbox, so it won’t miss a meeting or invent one.

Troubleshooting

Reconnect from the Connections tile, the sign-in likely expired or was abandoned partway through.
Check the timeframe you asked about, granola_list_meetings only covers the time range given (this week, last week, last 30 days, or a custom range). Ask again with a wider range.
