Connect Google Calendar and Expertise can work your schedule with you: pull up what’s coming, find a free slot before you propose a time, and put meetings on the calendar. Reads are instant; anything that creates, changes, or cancels an event pauses for your approval first, since attendees get notified.

What you can ask

“What’s on my calendar tomorrow?”
“When’s my next open 30-minute slot this week?”
“Schedule a demo with Jane at Acme for Thursday at 2pm and add a Meet link.” (asks for approval before sending invites)
“Move my 3pm with Acme to Friday morning instead.” (asks for approval)
“Cancel the intro call with the lead who ghosted us.” (asks for approval)

Connecting

  1. Open Connections in the dashboard and click Google Calendar → Connect.
  2. Sign in with Google and approve the requested access.
  3. Ask Expertise about your schedule to confirm it’s live.
You can disconnect from the Connections page any time, or revoke access under your Google Account’s Security → Third-party access.

Tools

Good to know

  • Invites notify people. Creating or changing an event with attendees sends real calendar invitations, so Expertise always confirms the title, time, and attendee list in an approval card before anything goes out.
  • Cancelling affects everyone invited, not just you, Expertise treats deletes with the same care as creates.
  • Times are resolved to your timezone. Relative phrases like “tomorrow afternoon” are converted against the current date before any tool runs.
  • Changes reference a real event. Expertise looks the event up first so it’s editing the meeting you mean, not guessing an ID.

Troubleshooting

Reconnect from the Connections tile, the Google token likely expired or the original sign-in was abandoned midway.
Check chat for a pending approval card, event creates, updates, and deletes wait for your approval and run the moment you approve.
